Max has worked in a variety of strategic and analytical roles in across Financial Services and Energy. Max trained as an M&A analyst at Robert W. Baird Inc. and has worked in the internal corporate finance teams at Willis Ltd and American Express Inc. Max has also worked as a strategy consultant at a number of tier one financial organisations (RBS, Nationwide, Barclaycard and Cinven), technology and energy clients at all stages of development advising on all aspects of strategy.

Andrew has founded a variety of businesses including Useful Ventures, a holding company with a focus on technology and healthcare business. Earlier, Andrew worked in Investment Management with Fisher Investments and within the Energy & Technology practice at PwC. Andrew also has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Edinburgh University and begun his career in aeronautical engineering.
Duncan has a deep background in engineering and energy – ex-head of Timken European Engineering & Technology, then head of Manufacturing. Ex-director privatising the MoD Laboratories, leading to the creation of QinetiQ plc. He has been an early adopter and investor in clean energy projects and companies and is a director of the Renewable Energy Association.
A qualified lawyer Alex has been spent managing business legal affairs for companies in the technology, entertainment and software sectors. He completed his MBA at Warwick Business School with a focus on marketing and digital innovation. Alex successfully co-founded and funded a knowledge sharing platform. He consults on business strategy, corporate governance for online platforms, consumer facing businesses and start-ups.
